A private company owned by the directors, Strong Financials Pty Ltd was formed to allow Planners to concentrate on Financial Strategy advice without the distraction of being part of fund or insurance providers. Strong Financials has a fee for service structure to ensure intelligent strategy development is the driving force behind our business.

Strong Financials has formed several strategic alliances with accountants, businesses and other advisers to develop its focus on strategies for the clients in managing cashflow, debt, risk, investment and estate planning.

Strong Financials Pty Ltd is a Corporate Authorised Representative of the SECURITOR Financial Group Limited (“SECURITOR”) who provide the support, training, product research and compliance required under the Australian Financial Services Act. SECURITOR holds an Australian Financial Services Licence number 240687.

John Strong B.Sc (Hons), Dip. FP (Financial Planning)

John’s career covers twenty five years in both small business and corporate management. After completing an honours degree in Science at the University of NSW he spent sixteen years in research, technical and production management positions in large and multi national corporations including Pacific Dunlop, Coca cola, East Asiatic Corporation and Fosters Group. John gained extensive experience and exposure to best practice financial, human resource and risk management strategies, controlling large departments and multimillion dollar budgets. Change management was an essential feature of that period of corporate consolidation and John developed his natural ability to identify long term strategies and train individuals and work teams to develop, understand and implement the changes required.

Since 1995 John has worked with private clients in training and personal strategy whilst consulting to business in systems development, training, and marketing. He strengthened his client support through formal training in motivational and performance psychology, NLP and mediation. In 2000 John consolidated his business, financial, and coaching expertise into Financial Planning firstly through extensive training under AMP and then through building his own company Strong Financials Pty ltd. John has built a reputation on supplying clear, concise and achievable financial strategies for individuals, business owners and employees.

Keith Barton CPA

Keith has over 36 years experience in financial services including the last 18 years as a financial planner. Keith has developed his expertise and knowledge of financial strategies through many years of in depth analysis of the strategies of trusts, companies and high wealth individuals as both an adviser and auditor including several years as the managing partner of a second tier accounting firm. He has been involved in helping and advising business clients at all levels from small business to large public companies and has particular interest in advising private clients who need to preserve assets whilst using them to produce income for day to day living.

Keith has a long history in advising on both direct equities and managed investments for both investment growth and income. Keith sits as director on several private investment companies and trusts and acts as the current treasurer of the a well know charity.
